Police week ends tomorrow - THANK GOD ! Yesterday I was hit on by a guy with a T-shirt that read, "God made Cops so firemen would have heros". arrrrgghh..
My days of partying with these guys and my holster-sniffing friend (and ex-coblogger) are long gone and so is my patience with bagpipes playing outside my window until 1:30 in the morning. Almost as classic as seeing them parade drunkingly down Mass Ave. in front of Union Station at midnight last night, while taking up 2 and a half lanes when they wobbled in front of my car. Guess they followed me home for a late night seranade. No thanks. This could actually be the most dangerous week in D.C. - I have seen more drunks with guns in the past few days than I have all year in Souteast.

i think we may live in the same place. those damn bagpipes at 1am were the pits.
blast that FOP.
We probably do. Annoying, right!?!
But, I swear it wasn't me who put the complaint letter in the elevator.
Childe (pronounced chãl) I heard bagpipes past 2 a.m. on the night of the 14th (err, morning).
Those police officers are anonymous here, no responsibility!
Let's not even get into my encounter with two Detroit cops near Logan Circle last year...
Police week is the number one reason I moved out of your bldg. I lived on the West side and the street market was right under my window, ew. Never again.
I'm just going to make sure I'm out of town for that week next year. I just get way too annoyed.
