Have you ever worked with someone who has zero respect for you? I have been working on a project with this guy for over two years and he has made it abundantly clear he believes I have nothing productive to contribute.

Last night, in response to an emailed suggestion I had for the team, he replied with a vocabulary lesson for me - apparently, I had a typo he decided to pick apart even though it was known what I was trying to say. A 1am email is not a good time to be sending out lectures. A simple, thanks for the reminder, would have sufficed.

Today, I made it through about 2 hours of a meeting before I got up, told him to kiss my ass, and walked out the door. Not the most professional move.

I have about 3 more weeks with this condescending jackass. How am I going to make it without wanting to bang his head into the table every time he speaks?

Sorry hon. I've dealt with this many times.

I always got by by doing a better job than that person and kickboxing. Or throwing breakable objects against the wall, but that has a tendency to get expensive.

Is it wrong to bang his head into the table everytime he speaks? Might be a good lesson for him...
